Could the NFL be about to have their wet dream of Super Bowls — well, I mean since Pat vs Tom didn’t happen in the Super Bowl?
Everyone had written off the Chiefs. Pat couldn’t throw the ball downfield, their defence wasn’t as good as it has been, Kelce is old now. All that noise. Even I didn’t have them in bucket 1 to start the season, and I’ve made some bank betting on Pat over Josh and whoever else they throw at him. But even I, who admittedly feels like they overrate the Chiefs — they keep winning, so they keep holding that spot.
Well, all the Chiefs did was what the Chiefs do: marry maybe the most famous woman on the planet and have her at as many games as possible, go and get another Super Bowl MVP to pair with Pat, Trav and Andy, then come out with a running game and win a completely new way (in case you were wondering who the GOAT coach is), and they got the band back together getting their offensive coach back. Here we go again. Chiefs look like they are going to be preparing for the Arrowhead Invitational two weeks before they play in the Super Bowl again.
Wait just a second though. Over on the NFC side of the ball, those damn LA teams seem to find a way to get all the big-time ballers to end up there in all sports now. It’s almost like if you are going to play sports for a living and be fuck-you rich, then living in LA is a no-brainer. Let’s get the Defensive Player of the Year, and give maybe one of the greatest defensive players of all time a call and see if he wants to strap them up again. Take an all-time offense and now an all-time defense, with a QB that is pretty much as loved as any other than Pat. Famous faces all over the field — and now, as far as the NFL is concerned, it’s printing money if they get the Chiefs and the Rams to meet in the Super Bowl. Oh, and where would they meet? SoFi Stadium in Cal-i-fornia.
I’ve already got money on both futures, but the conspiracy theorists are going to go nuts over this one. The media? Oh, I’m down for all of it.
Watch this space. It’s BL2810’s super early Super Bowl “wet dream” prediction.
